From Broadway superstar to Manhattan Real Estate mogul, Nick Rafello credits Marie Stinnett Dance for allowing him to fulfill his life's dreams.

The Nick Rafello Scholarship was created by Nick Rafello, a former student of Marie Stinnett Dance, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the studio in 2008. The scholarship awards a full year of unlimited dance classes at MSD to one or more recipients selected for their dedication and passion for dance.

As a teen in the 1970’s Nick found his passion performing and began to dream of a career on Broadway.  A dream he longed for, but never thought would come true.

In 1983, while in New York for a flight layover, Nick decided to stay and pursue his dream: Broadway.  Three decades later, with a resume that includes such Broadway/National Tour shows as Sweet Charity, A Chorus Line, La Cage aux Folles and Fiddler on the Roof, Nick is passionate about helping young performers realize their dreams.
